    Of course we couldn't stay away. We came back many times since that incident because we can't stay away from our favorite local Taco spot! I had to update my review because the owner/manager did address the issue listed above. He actually came up to us today and apologized to us and stated the issue was addressed. As a regular customer, I appreciated that he reached out. (Thank you for that!)

    We have come multiple times since that incident and seems like the bland taste in meat and watered down sauces was a one time thing. Food was delicious this time around! We ordered our favorites and our tacos came out piping hot. Warm tortillas and juicy asada. Life can't get much better than that.

    Highly recommend this spot if you're looking to satisfy that taco craving.

    I'm made three visits now, so its time for a review. I'm a happy customer. The food (tacos especially) is great. For a counter service restaurant, El Taco Charro exceeds my expectations. Ordering is easy and fast. The staff are friendly and even help translate some of the options when asked. Plus, the dinning area is always spotless.

    I'm working my way through the taco options. I've tried chicharron, chili rojo, chili verdi, lengua, Baja fish and shrimp tacos so far. All were excellent.

    I've also added this to my list of recommended restaurants for visitors to the Carson area. It really is a solid lunch spot.

    Best menudo I've tried around the area !!!!!
    Definitely coming back for round 2!
    The kids plates are a plus too , my son enjoyed his taco beans and rice

    Ordered my asada fries 20 mins before my lunch break, I show up and they havent even began making them yet. It was busy, but not that busy to forget a phone order. The fries are always good, so it was worth the 10 min wait I suppose.

    Ok. I am a Mexican food lover ! I have eaten at so many spot all over the globe. El Taco Charro in Carson California is a hidden Jem!
    The food here is so full of flavor! Now I'm on Keto so I have not had the rice and beans. But let me tell you the carnitas plate, the Chile verde plate and the roasted Mexican chicken are all delicious with big ol capital D and ! At the end! The Chile verde is nice and spicy... LOVE IT!!!!
    Man if you leave near here get on down there! The open at 8 am for the peeps who like spicy food when they wake up like me! Full menu at 8 am too. Not just breakfast... they have a bar as well if you go at night.
    Now go eat it! Eat now!
